When you have an argument with your spouse, it's hard to think straight. Take a timeout, and write down why you are angry and what you feel needs to happen to resolve it.

This gives you a chance to cool off and lets you clearly express yourself without getting out of control. Let your spouse read it and digest it, then talk reasonably about a resolution.
